HR Manager/Internal Auditor

Qualification

  • A diploma in human resources management
  • Experience of over five years in a senior Human Resources management position;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be conversant with labour/ industrial relations
  • Experience with certification schemes in floriculture like MPS and KFC-Silver

Technical Manager in production of Roses

Qualification

  • BSC in horticulture
  • Over five years roses growing experience both in soil and soil-less culture
  • At least two year experience with Integrated Pest Management
  • Aged between 28 – 40 years
  • Should be result oriented and capable of working under minimum supervision

House girl/Cook (2 posts)

Qualification

  • Form 4 level education (KCSE Certificate)
  • At least 2 years experience as a house girl/cook preferably with a European family
  • Those with knowledge of taking care of a small child will have an added advantage
  • Preferably a certificate in cookery/housekeeping

HR & Administration Assistant
Ref No:ST/ADM/01/2011

Reporting to the HR and Administration Manager.

The key responsibilities and accountabilities of this position will include among others:

  • Drafting and preparation of routine correspondences for the HR and Administration department as required
  • Compiling HR and Administration reports in liaison with Human Resource Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirement and Society policies.
  • Ensuring smooth running of all outsourced administrative services.
  • Ensuring prompt settlement of utility bills.
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Ensuring proper housekeeping of all Society premises.
  • Coordinating execution of third party service contracts.

Qualifications:

  • KCSE Grade B
  • KNEC Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • 3 years relevant working experience.
  • High degree of integrity, a team player with effective communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business related field will be an added advantage.

Records Management Officer
Ref No:
ST/ADM/02/2011:

Reporting to the HR and Administration Manager.

The key responsibilities and accountabilities of this position will include among others:

  • Developing and implementing policies, norms and procedures for records management in the Society.
  • Implementing Society records and archives management systems in accordance with the established statutory and policy requirements.
  • Maintaining records management standards and codes of best practices.
  • Developing records management working tools and guiding in their applications.
  • Designing and reviewing records management training manual and facilitating inhouse records management courses.
  • Implementing risk management programs for Society records.
  • Implementing Society records’ retention and disposal systems in line with existing policies.
  • Facilitating management of electronic records management systems through scanning, digitisation, reprographic or any other appropriate means.
  • Advising the Society on the legal requirements in regard to records management.
  • Setting up, maintaining, reviewing and documenting an effective records custody and retrieval system.

Qualifications:

  • KCSE Grade B
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Records Management.
  • A post graduate Diploma in Records Management and or Management Development
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • 4 years relevant experience.
  • High degree of integrity, a team player with effective communication skills.

1. Chief Architect

Requirement for appointment for the position of Chief Architect

The candidate must:

  • Be in possession of a Bachelors degree in Architecture. Masters Degree in Architecture or housing related degree from a recognized university will be an added advantage.
  • Be a Registered Architect by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors for a minimum of seven (7) years.
  • Possess eight (8) years professional experience in Architectural work, six (6) of which should have been served at a senior management level.
  • Be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Be computer literate specifically ArchiCAD/AutoCAD.
  • Possess practical proof and relevant experience on Project Management.

2. Quantity Surveyor

Requirements for appointment of Quantity Surveyor

The candidate must:

  • Have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Quantity Surveying/Building Economics from a recognized university.
  • Have three (3) years post graduate experience in Quantity Survey work in a busy environment.
  • Be registered by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors.
  • Be computer literate in the use of Quantity Surveying software, preferably Win-Qs.

3. Transport Officer

Requirements for Appointment of Transport Officer

The candidate must:

  • Possess ‘O’ Level mean grade of C plain.
  • Possess a Higher Diploma in Mechanical or motor vehicle engineering from KNEC.
  • Be in possession of a Driving License for all motor vehicle categories.
  • Have ten (10) years experience in transport or logistics, fleet management and six years served after attaining the Higher Diploma.

4. Security Officer

Requirements for Appointment of Security Officer

The candidate must:

  • Possess ‘O’ Level mean grade of C plain and a Diploma in Administration or Management from KNEC.
  • Have Ten (10) years experience in security duties.
  • Have served in the disciplined forces to the rank of an inspector of police or equivalent.

The above position is on a three (3) years renewable contract and the successful candidate will be subject to performance contracting.
